After working with numerous high-end interior designers in London and abroad, Mille Couleurs is highly trusted to deliver only the best when it comes to installing fabric on walls. Today we have compiled then simple questions to ask any company that you contact for your project.
What type of finish do they provide?
Fabric walling is an old practice that provides an extravagant look in any room. However, there are two known techniques that are available – an invisible finish and a finish with a braid.
The traditional finish allows for a thin braid to be placed just above the skirting board to cover edges. The modern finish does not require a braid. Mille Couleurs can provide an invisible finish also known as the “French technique” where braids are not needed. This gives a clean finish without the need of any extras.
Type of materials used
Depending on the type of materials used by the company hired for the fabric walling installation project, the finish will be always different. Installing fabrics on walls is more than just stretching it on the walls. The quality of the materials greatly affects the finish. It is important to use good quality materials for each installation in order to guarantee the longevity of each installation.
